In 2016 on HBO, there will be a premiere of TV drama "Vinyl" by Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger and screenwriter Terence Winter ("The Wolf of Wall Street", "Boardwalk Empire", "The Sopranos").
The events are set in 1970s New York, at the dawn of punk rock, disco and hip-hop. At the center of the story there is a music producer, played by Bobby Cannavale ("Boardwalk Empire"), who trying to save his business, while not ruining the soul.
Producer’s wife performed by Olivia Wilde ("House"). The role of the young musician played by Mick Jagger's son, James. The rocker himself acted as producer of the project. The pilot episode was directed by Martin Scorsese, who is also an executive producer of "Vinyl".
