Video: Deftones leader plays acoustic set inside a volcano
Deftones’ leader Chino Moreno played a set inside the volcano Thrihnukagigur, Iceland, on June 18. BBC Newsbeat reports that each of the 20 spectators paid £1380 (about 47 thousand UAH) for such an unusual gig.
The performance was opened by the Icelandic singer-songwriter Snorri Helgason, who called Thrihnukagigur "a natural cathedral underground". Then, there was an acoustic set by Chino Moreno, consisting of a three-song set of Morrissey, a track from his band Deftones and a David Bowie's song. According to BBC Newsbeat journalist, Moreno speech "was a bit disappointing".
