Napalm Death release new video with Costin Chioreanu art

In anticipation of the North American tour, the UK death metallers Napalm Death presented the new animated video "Dear Slum Landlord".

The video was created by the Romanian artist Costin Chioreanu / Twilight Media, who previously has worked on the band’s music video "How The Years Condemn". Visual part of "Dear Slum Landlord" also includes excerpts from Napalm Death’s live show, shot by Oliver Barth / Visions In Fear.

The vocalist Mark "Barney" Greenway comments: "Being a very queasy and deliberately monotone kind of song, we felt simplicity was the key with the video for 'Dear Slum Landlord'. Suitably, thanks to two production people in Oliver and Costin — who really understand the contrasting elements of Napalm Death — it's simple, desolate, black and white and just that little bit grim, befitting the subject matter of interconnected housing/labour exploitation which does its best to remain hidden from view."

The song "Dear Slum Landlord" is taken from the group's latest album "Apex Predator — Easy Meat", which was released in late January 2015 via Century Media Records. Napalm Death’s tour in North America with the bands The Melvins and Melt Banana will run from March 24 to May 9. Then, the musicians will go on tour in Europe, from June 4 to August 5. The band’s all concert dates can be found here.
