Eagles of Death Metal performed in Paris for the first time since terrorist attacks
The American rock band Eagles of Death Metal performed in Paris for the first time after the tragic events of November 13.
The band had the new sold out concert on February 16 at the hall "Olympia". The show was held as a part of the group’s worldwide tour, the schedule of which is already packed up a few months ahead, until re-performance in France at the Festival Le Cabaret Vert on August 25.
We’re reminding that, on November 13, 2015, the gunmen attacked several locations in Paris, including the hall Bataklan, where the musicians were performing. Killing 130 people, the attacks have become the largest in number of victims for all history of France.
In December, Eagles of Death Metal launched Play It Forward company, urging other musicians to make a cover of the band's song "I Love You All The Time". All proceeds from the sale of the songs will be transferred to the organization The Sweet Stuff Foundation to help victims of the November’s events. At the present moment, Chelsea Wolfe, Nada Surf, Halestorm, Matt Cameron of Pearl Jam, Liam Lynch, Peter Hayden, The Beta Machine, The Beaches, The Whigs, Buffalo Brothers and others took part in the campaign.
