Daughters unveil new sensual video "Less Sex" and European tour dates

American rockers Daughters presented a fresh video "Less Sex" and the dates of their upcoming European tour.

The song "Less Sex" is taken from the band’s latest album "You Won’t Get What You Want", which was released in October 2018 via Ipecac Recordings and later placed on countless year-end best of lists such as The Quietus, Rolling Stone and Bandcamp. The video was directed by Daughters’ former member Jeremy Wabiszczewicz.

Singer Alexis Marshall said of the enduring partnership, "More than a decade after Jeremy was a founding member of Daughters, he proposed an intriguing concept for a "Less Sex" video, dark and unnerving, to match the mood the song carries with it. To say we are pleased with the end result would be an egregious understatement. Our dear friend has gone all out and with that, provided us with a visual accompaniment that, quite simply, floors us with every viewing."

The video arrives as the band is prepping for their first North American tour in support of "You Won’t Get What You Want", with European touring to follow in April and beyond. All European tour dates can be found below. More info about tickets can be found here.

Daughters is vocalist Alexis Marshall, guitar player Nick Sadler, drummer Jon Syverson and bass player Sam Walker. Following the release of their 2010 self-titled album, the band took an indefinite hiatus, returning in 2013 for a pair of sold-out hometown shows in Providence, and a subsequent smattering of live dates in the intervening years, including joining Dillinger Escape Plan for their final live outings in December of 2017. The foursome released "You Won’t Get What You Want" in October of 2018 via Ipecac Recordings. The 11-song collection has quickly become one of 2018’s most well-received albums, with fans and critics worldwide marveling at Daughters’ bold return.
