The Finnish metallers Children Of Bodom have entered their own Danger Johnny Studios in Helsinki to begin work on their as-yet-untitled 10th album with the producer Mikko Karmila, who has worked on all the band’s previous full-length releases, except "Something Wild" and "Relentless Reckless Forever".
On April 3, Children Of Bodom’s frontman, Alexi Laiho, made a video message saying, "seems like Jaska [Raatikainen] is pretty much 99.9% done with the drums", as there is "one drum solo is pretty much missing", and that soon the band will begin recording the guitars.
Children Of Bodom’s currently latest album "I Worship Chaos" was released in 2015 via Nuclear Blast. The upcoming 10th LP will be the band's first release, recorded with the new guitarist Daniel Freyberg.
Below, watch Noizr Zine’s video interview with Children Of Bodom’s keyboardist Janne Wirman — about touring, recording the album in the warehouse and how streaming services and major labels kill the music industry.
