Ukrainian rock star Oleg Skrypka made cover of Nokturnal Mortum’s song

Oleg Skrypka, the leader of the Ukrainian rock band Vopli Vidopliassova, made a cover for black metal band Nokturnal Mortum’s track "Ukraine" special for the Defender of Ukraine Day.

"Ukraine" is one of the most famous songs in Nokturnal Mortum’s discography. It was released on the album "The Voice of Steel" in 2009. The original song version can be listened below.

Update: In honor of the 25th anniversary of the independence of Ukraine, Oleg Skrypka released new video which features artworks by the famous Ukrainian artist Oleg Shuplyak.
