"Bohemian Rhapsody" wins two Golden Globe awards
Golden Globe Awards, honored the best in film and American television of 2018, took place this Sunday, on January 6, in Los Angeles, California. Two major awards were received by "Bohemian Rhapsody", a film about the British rock band Queen.
The biopic won in both categories for which it was nominated: Best Motion Picture — Drama and Best Actor in a Motion Picture — Drama. The second award went to actor Rami Malek for his portrayal of Queen’s frontman Freddie Mercury.
"Bohemian Rhapsody", which premiered on October 24, 2018, became the highest-grossing music film by mid-December, earning more than $600,000 at the box office worldwide.
