Inferno Metal Festival, an annual heavy music event, traditionally held in Oslo, Norway, will take place on April 18-21, 2019. The other day, the festival’s organizers announced a new bunch of artists, including Carach Angren, Misthyrming, 1349, Tribulation, and Valkyrja. Below, you can check the full announcement.

Earlier, the organizers announced that Taake, Vomitory, Gaahls Wyrd, Batushka, Archgoat, The Ruins of Beverast, Der Weg Einer Freiheit and Avast will perform at the festival.

Carach Angren. Get ready for some horrific ghost stories when the Dutch symphonic black metal band Carach Angren returns to Inferno Metal Festival. The band released their fifth album yesteryear called “Dance and Laugh Amongst the Rotten”. With a brand new album under the belt Carach Angren have pushed their unashamedly theatric style to a new intense height. Something you can experience on close hold when the band performs at Inferno Metal Festival 2019!

Misþyrming. Before releasing their one and only album “Söngvar elds og óreiðu” in 2015 – Misþyrming did a completely packed show at Inferno Metal Festival 2015. That was the band's first gig outside of Iceland – where the band hails from. Since then the band has performed at most of the big festivals in Europe – so now it is time to return to where it all started – at Inferno Metal Festival!

1349. The Norwegian black metal band 1349 released their first demo tape twenty years ago in 1998. Since then the foursome has released six furious albums of hatred and darkness – and are now working on their seventh album. The band will return to Inferno Metal Festival with a blast in 2019. Release the Hellfire upon us all.

Tribulation. Sweden's Tribulation is one of the most exiting bands coming from our neighbors in the east nowadays. Their third full-length album, “Children of the Night”, took the world by its horns when it was released by Century Media Records in 2015. Tribulation recently released their new album “Down Below” which has by many critics been listed as a good candidate for album of the year. It's been eight years since Tribulation played at our club day in 2010. It is time for a return!

Valkyrja. The Swedish black metal band Valkyrja was created in 2004 with the intention to channel violence, deprivation and loath through the extraordinary potent audio channel. After three critically acclaimed albums Valkyrja has started to record their next masterpiece. The album is expected to be out on the street within this year. This will be the swedes first appearance at Inferno Metal Festival!
