​Drudkh’s new album "They Often See Dreams About the Spring" available for free listening

The Ukrainian black metal act Drudkh has unveiled the full stream of its latest record "They Often See Dreams About the Spring" which has been released today, March 9, via Season of Mist.

All 5 album’s songs are based on the poems of the repressed Ukrainian poets of the XX century — "Nakryta Neba Burym Dakhom…" (based on Bohdan Ihor Antonych’s poem "Do holodnyh zir", 1936), "U Dakhiv Irzhavim Kolossyu..." (based on Maik Yohansen’s poem "Ya znayu: ya zagynu", 1920), "Vechirniy Smerk Okutuye Kimnaty..." (based on Vasily Bobinskiy's poem "Vechirnya Melodiya", 1917), "Za Zoreyu Scho Striloyu Syaye..." (based on 1933’s same-named poem of Bohdan Ihor Antonych), "Bilyavyi Den’ Vtomyvsya I prytykh..." (based on same-named poem of Pavlo Fylypovych taken from 1922’s book "Zemlya i viter").

"They Often See Dreams About the Spring" release date (March 9) coincided with the birthday of the classic of Ukrainian literature Taras Shevchenko.
