The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed a law according to which the tours of Russian artists should be coordinated with the Security Service of Ukraine. This is reported on the official website of the head of state.

The law envisages that during the conduct of touring events, calls for the propaganda of separatism, communist or national-socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes and their symbols are not allowed; forbids tours that popularize or promote the aggressor-state and its authorities, as well as tours, the participant of which is a person included in the List of persons posing a threat to national security, etc.

The document also determines the organization of concerts of artists from the "Aggressor-State" — at least 30 days before the day of the event, the promoter must submit to the Security Service a request for information on the presence or absence of legal grounds to prevent the artist from participating in the tour in Ukraine. At the same time, the SSU needs to get reliable information about the name and surname of the artist, his or her pseudonyms, participation in bands and other information characterizing his/her creative activity.

SSU, within 10 days after the request, examines and provides an answer to the organizer, and only after that the promoter can sign a contract with the artist.

For violation of the law, the organizer faces a fine in the amount of 50 to 100 minimum wages. The law came into force on the day following its publication.
