The special guests of the event will be the winners of 2016’s main award — Jinjer.

Interview with Jinjer: "If a band is limited to perform only in Ukraine, it is a direct way to the grave"

The seven nominees will compete for The Best Ukrainian Metal Act's main award "Best Metal Band", which will be determined during the voting by the event’s visitors after the performance of all groups. In addition to the main category, the organizers will give two awards for "Best Metal Album" and "Best Metal Video" to the group, decided by BUMA’s jury. The nominees in these categories will be selected from the bands which have presented its releases (including EPs) and music videos from December 1, 2016, to December 1, 2017. The Best Ukrainian Metal Act is to take place on December 23 at the Bingo club, Kyiv, Ukraine.
