Calendar of events in Ukraine: Top 10 gigs of this winter
This winter, many good rock and metal gigs are going to take place in Ukraine. For this article, we picked the most interesting events that you definitely should not miss!

December 1 — Combichrist
The American aggrotech metal project Combichrist will play a concert in Kyiv, Ukraine, in support of the band's newest album "One Fire". The performance will take place on December 1 at the Bingo club, tickets are already available for purchase here. Event on Facebook.
December 7 — Oskorei Festival
On December 7, the one-day indoor festival Oskorei will be held in Kyiv, Ukraine, featuring Shining (SE), Tyr (FO), Finsterforst (DE), Martyrium (MT), Natural Spirit (UA), and Stryvigor (UA). Tickets from 950 to 1440 UAH are available here. Event on Facebook.
December 8 — Heilung
In December, the capital of Ukraine for the first time will be visited by the neofolk band Heilung. The band, using the Old Scandinavian texts in their work, will present in Kyiv their latest album "Futha". The concert will be held at CCA NAU, tickets are from 890 UAH.

December 20 — White Ward
Odesa-based act White Ward are to perform a show on December 20 at the Teatr. Club in Lvi in support of their second album "Love Exchange Failure", which was released this fall via the cult French label Debemur Morti Productions.
December 21 — The Best Ukrainian Metal Act
Traditionally, The Best Ukrainian Metal Act award will be held for the 7th time in December in Kyiv. Once again, the organizers will mark the best Ukrainian metal bands in the categories "Best Metal Act", "Best Metal Album" and "Best Metal Video". Among the announced nominees for the main award are Hell:on, Chasing Embers, Motanka, Vovk, and Septa who has recently released its new album "Bitten By The Serpent Of The Kingdom Of The Spirit". The special guest of the event will be Velikhan, the last year’s winner in the nomination "Best Metal Band". Tickets from 250 UAH are already available for order.

January 12 — Mayhem
In January, the cult Norwegian black metal act Mayhem will perform in Kyiv. The concert will be held in support of the newest album "Daemon" at the Bingo Club. Tickets are from 890 UAH.
January 14 — Five Finger Death Punch
In Kyiv, Americans 5FDP will perform their the most well-known songs and tracks from the latest album. The concert will take place at the Sports Palace. Tickets are available from 990 to 6990 UAH.

February 7 — Paradise Lost
British metallers Paradise Lost will give a concert in Kyiv, Ukraine, on February 7, 2020. The performance will take place at the Bingo club in support of the band’s latest album "Medusa". Tickets from 700 UAH are already available for purchase. More details can be found here.

February 7 — Uriah Heep
Legendary rockers Uriah Heep, authors of such imperishable films as "Lady In Black", "July Morning" and "Free Me", will perform their show in Kyiv next year. The show will take place in the concert hall "October".
February 29 — Hammerfall
In February, the Swedish power metal band Hammerfall will perform in support of its new album "Dominion". The show will take place at Atlas Club in Kyiv.
