Slayer's new single "When The Stillness Comes"
The label of the American thrash metallers Slayer shared the band's new single "When The Stillness Comes", which comes out on the 18th of April in Record Store Day. The track will be released in a limited 5000 copies on 7-inch vinyl and will be available only at the participating stores listed on
the Record Store Day website.
"When The Stillness Comes" was recorded last year in Los Angeles with producer Terry Date. The single will also include a live version of the song "Black Magic" – originally released on their 1983 debut, "Show No Mercy" – that they recorded at Germany's Wacken festival last year.
The previous Slayer's single "Implode" came out in April last year. It was the first track, which was released after the death of guitarist and one of the band's founders Jeff Hanneman. For recording the new full-length album Slayer invited Exodus' guitarist, Gary Holt. The group also now features returning drummer Paul Bostaph.
